
Chapel Hill – Chauncy Hall is a preparatory high school with an academic program that acknowledges and nurtures students’ various styles of learning. The curriculum incorporates music, outdoor activities, theatre, and art. With the prioritization of STEM education in high schools across the nation, it is crucial for schools that continue to value the arts to remain competitive and emphasize their essential role in the community.
The main goal of this project was to develop a brand identity that visually communicated the school’s unique teaching style and student life. Establishing a cohesive visual language would allow them to create a more exciting and emotional connection with their audience and continue the growth of the institution.
We interviewed staff, students, families, and board members to best capture the spirit of the school, embedding its unique characteristics into a competitive, new logo and brand that intersects both tradition and evolution.
